The Moon spends today in Leo, a fire sign, running from fourteen degrees to twenty eight, and she holds no share of the fire triplicity under any of the old schemes. Fire goes to the Sun by day and to Jupiter by night, which is the only one of the four the schemes agree on without argument.

So today’s meeting has a shape to it. The Moon, who owns nothing whatever in Leo, passes the planet that governs fire in every chart cast after dark, inside a fire sign, at twenty two minutes past ten in the morning by UTC. That contact is also the last aspect she makes before leaving. She is void of course from 10:22 and does not enter Virgo until 02:53 UTC tomorrow, sixteen and a half hours later.
