Domicile
|
|
The strongest of the essential dignities. Domicile means the planet is in the sign it rules, operating from its own house, with full authority and no need of another planet’s support. The tradition treated a planet in domicile as a person acting from ownership, not as a guest being honored elsewhere.

The only thing more pleasurable that S-X
We’re entering a new era.
We’re not just entering a brave new world in music...
We’re entering a brave new world in frequency itself.
No this isn’t one of those silly “placebo effect” videos...
This one has real scientific evidence… and a list of success stories as far as the eye can see.
I have seen a lot of products.
But never have I seen people’s financial situation turn around ON A DIME.
We’re talking about 5 figure wires coming into their bank account on Day 1 !
But why should I be surprised?
When we have discovered the EXACT frequency… of the abundance of the universe.
People have been searching for this frequency for a very long time.
Those are your only two choices at this point.
I believe humanity will now divide into those camps.
And those who wish they had it.
P.S. Yes you need to take action.
But you only need to take action once.

Domicile is the least disputed of the essential dignities. The Moon is in Cancer today, at thirteen degrees, in a waning gibbous phase, and Cancer is the one sign she rules. Every system of planetary assignment across twenty centuries agrees on this point, even when they disagree on nearly everything else.

The word itself comes from the Latin for house. A planet in domicile is not visiting. It is home, operating with full authority, needing no assistance from another planet to act. Ptolemy, writing in second century Alexandria, listed the Moon’s rulership of Cancer as settled knowledge in the Tetrabiblos, not as his own discovery. The logic the tradition offered is sympathetic: Cancer is cardinal water, the sign that initiates through feeling and responsiveness. The Moon, which the old writers associated with moisture, change, and the body’s reception of influence, was said to find in Cancer the conditions most native to her operation.

The tradition drew a distinction worth keeping. It separated domicile from exaltation, which is a different and lesser dignity. Exaltation the tradition compared to a guest being honored in someone else’s hall. Domicile was not honor. It was ownership. In horary work, a significator in its own sign was read as a person with resources, acting from strength, not dependent on another’s favor.

The waning gibbous follows the full Moon by a few days. The older calendars treated the waning half of the cycle as better suited for completing than for starting. A strong Moon in her own sign, late in the phase: the tradition would have read this as favorable ground for finishing what was already well underway, not for launching anything new.

Ptolemy, Tetrabiblos

Written in second century Alexandria, this is the text that codified the system of planetary rulerships as already ancient and settled knowledge, not as new argument.
