The word to know today
Combust
A planet within about eight and a half degrees of the Sun was called combust, burned up in his light. It is the heaviest of the accidental debilities, scored at minus five. The wider band outside it, seventeen degrees, has its own name: under the beams.

The Founding Fathers Had A Soundtrack

George Washington heard it.

Benjamin Franklin heard it.

Paul Revere heard it.

For over 300 years, this was locked inside private ceremonies performed by some of the most powerful men in history.

No recording existed.

No outsider had ever witnessed it.

Until one man… a member for twenty years… broke his oath of silence and captured it.

This isn’t a modern creation.

Nobody "designed" this in a lab.

It comes from a living tradition that predates the founding of America.

The same ceremony.

The same tones.

Passed down through generations behind closed doors.

The man who recorded it says he felt the effects in his bones the first time he heard it. Goosebumps.

Tears.

A sense that something ancient had just woken up inside him.

He’s now sharing it publicly for the first time.

The men who guard this tradition are not pleased.

But he believes it’s too powerful to keep hidden while good people are struggling.

P.S. He’s an accountant, not a guru. That’s part of why I trust him.

Three thresholds separate a planet from the Sun, and over the next three days the Moon crosses all of them. She entered Virgo at 02:53 UTC this morning and stands at eleven degrees of it tonight, with the Sun at fourteen degrees of Libra, a little over thirty degrees ahead of her. The gap closes at about twelve degrees a day.
The first threshold is called under the beams. Lilly puts it at seventeen degrees, and a planet inside that distance was held to be losing its own light to the Sun’s. The second is combustion, at about eight and a half degrees, and it is the heaviest debility in the tables. A combust planet was read as burned up, overwhelmed, unable to act on its own behalf. The third threshold is seventeen minutes of arc, and there the judgment reverses entirely.
Inside seventeen minutes a planet is cazimi, which is a Latin spelling of an Arabic phrase meaning in the heart. The tradition counted that a strong fortification rather than a ruin. Same body, same approach, same direction of travel, and the reading flips from destroyed to protected across eight degrees of closing. She goes void of course at 18:57 UTC tonight and stays void for thirty seven hours, the longest stretch of the month, so almost none of this approach is made in the ordinary way. By the arithmetic, the exact moment of any new Moon is the Moon cazimi. Saturday’s falls at 15:50 UTC.
