The word to know today
Aspect
Aspect comes from the Latin for looking toward. There are five: conjunction, sextile, square, trine and opposition, at zero, sixty, ninety, a hundred and twenty and a hundred and eighty degrees. Signs standing at any other distance were held not to see one another at all.

I usually do not send messages like this...

But your chart kept pulling at my intuition so aggressively that I had to stop my readings completely.

No matter whose reading I started next, yours kept appearing instead.

It's incredibly rare for one person's energy to interrupt multiple readings in a row.

When I finally gave in and looked closer, I understood why.

An angel just stepped in and completely paid the debt.

I don't think you should go to sleep tonight without seeing what they opened for you.

The word aspect means a looking, from the Latin for turning the eyes toward a thing. The Moon spends today in the last third of Scorpio, running from seventeen degrees to twenty nine, and she makes exactly one aspect in the whole of it: a square to Jupiter at 08:46 UTC. After that she sees nobody until she changes signs.
There are five of them and no more. Conjunction at zero degrees, sextile at sixty, square at ninety, trine at a hundred and twenty, opposition at a hundred and eighty. The set is not arbitrary and it is not a matter of taste. Those are the circle divided by one, six, four, three and two, and the Greek writers defended the list by ratio, on the same reasoning that decides which string lengths sound like music together and which do not.
What the list leaves out is the interesting part. Thirty degrees is not an aspect. Neither is a hundred and fifty. Signs standing at those distances were said to be unable to see each other at all, and the term for the condition is aversion. Two planets in aversion are not in a difficult relationship. They are in no relationship, which the tradition took to be the harder case of the two. She is void of course from this morning until 01:00 UTC tomorrow, in her fall, in the last degrees of the sign, and looking at nothing.

Second century, and the question of which signs can see which runs underneath a great many of its judgments.
